Diana Penty posts video of Mumbai blaze, thanks Mumbai Fire Brigade

Diana Penty thanks Mumbai Police, Mumbai Fire Brigade for controlling the fire that broke out in Byculla's Mazgaon on Wednesday at around 2.50 pm.

Bollywood actress Diana Penty on Wednesday posted a video on Twitter about the fire which broke out in Mumbai's Mazgaon area. In the post, she thanked the Mumbai Police and the Mumbai Fire Brigade and the medical services for bringing the fire under control. She also thanked them for responding to the crisis effectively. In the video, one can see the blazing fire, fire engines, firemen, policemen and Mumbai police vehicles.

Diana Penty also thanked the 'Muslim brothers' in the same post. It appears she heard the Azaan at 2:00 am which deeply moved her. She thanked them for the timely prayers which took place amid the incident. She added that she had never heard Azaan before.

Details about Mumbai fire incident at Byculla's Mazgaon 

A fire had broken out in a timber yard Mustafa Bazaar of Mazgaon in Byculla. The incident took place at Santa Sawta Marg in the early hours of Wednesday. Eight fire tenders and twelve tankers from the Mumbai Fire Brigade were rushed to the spot. A local said the fire started in the early morning. The local added that the police and firemen had immediately reached the spot.

"We are trying to douse the fire, it broke out at 2.50 am. Owing to the timber and the wind it is difficult to contain the fire. But we are ensuring that the fire doesn't spread. We have covered the site from all four sides," the CFO Prabhat Rahangdale said.
