Forest Department is conducting an investigation in matter on basis of video. Two out of four accused in case have been identified. department conducted a raid on house of accused. However, y fled from site when y got to kw about raid. forest department has deployed five teams to trace accused.

Assistant District Forest Officer Bindu Patel said, "A video of a python being burnt alive went viral on social media. two persons who committed offence have escaped from Bodal vill. Python is a Schedule 1 animal under Forest Wildlife Protection Act. An FIR has been registered under section 9 of aforementioned Act."

"If crime committed by offenders is proved in court, y will n be imprisoned for 3 to 7 years and y will have to pay a fine of Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000," she ded.
Garba with snakes
Earlier, two women and a girl were held along with two ors after a video showed m performing Garba dance with snakes in ir hands in Junagh district of Gujarat, a forest department official said on October 12. All of m were booked under Wildlife (Protection) Act and held on Thursday, official said.
