Himachal Pradesh witnesses light rains at few places

The Meteorological (MeT) Department also issued a yellow weather warning for Wednesday and Thursday for the state

Light rains occurred at a few places in Himachal Presh on Tuesday, while monsoon remained weak in last 24 hours in state.

Meteorological (MeT) Department also issued a yellow wear warning for Wednesday and Thursday for state.

MeT centre Shimla forecast rains in state till August 24, however, it issued yellow wear warning for August 19 and 20.

wear office issues colour-coded warnings to alert public ahe of severe or hazardous wear, which has potential to cause "dam, widespre disruption and/or danger to life".

Yellow is least dangerous of all wear warnings.
