Quashing aside claims by international media about medical crisis in J&K, IAS officers in state said that re is thing such things and availability of medicines are ample. Earlier, goverr Satya Pal Malik also rubbished claims of medical crisis. Even as Centre and forces are trying ir best to restore rmalcy in valley, Pakistan has been peddling fake news. In recent incident, Police officer Imtiyaz Hussain said that re is absolute propaganda that is being spre by international media. Ar officer Shahid Chaudhary gave a detailed list of surgeries and treatments going on in hospital. He ensured that all hospitals are functioning in Kashmir and said " I see people getting angry and abusive finding rebuttal of such panicky report. Inste of that bring cases to my kwledge, I assure personal attention even as 94% doctors are on duty." Here are tweets:

Army chief to visit J&K
Days after NSA Ajit Doval visited Jammu and Kashmir and reviewed security situation in valley, army chief Bipin Rawat is scheduled to visit Srinagar on August 30. This is first visit of army chief after abrogation of Article 370, and he will review security situation in valley. Along with security functionaries continuously visiting valley to speed up process of rmalcy, Central government is sending teams from various department. teams are tasked to find out projects appropriate and government schemes that are t implemented in valley. After NSA Ajit Doval interacted with locals in valley including celebrating Eid with forces, Army Chief's visit is a major visit in valley as far as security front is concerned. Meanwhile, defence minister Rajnath Singh visited Leh on Thursday.

Abrogation of Article 370
On August 5, India abrogated Article 370 of Constitution that provided special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Indian Parliament also bifurcated state into two Union Territories -- Jammu Kashmir, and Lakh. Reacting to India's decision, Pakistan expelled Indian High Commissioner soon after deciding to downgre diplomatic ties with New Delhi. India has categorically told international community that its move to scrap Article 370 of Constitution is its internal matter and has also vised Pakistan to accept reality. As a preventive measure, Centre also placed leers in Kashmir - Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti into detention, and ordered communication backout and curfew was imposed. However after a week, several communication facilities were resumed. 23 days after abrogation, Centre claims that situtaion is rmal, however some restrictions in valley are still in place.
