Jharkhand Elections: Chidambaram takes a dig at BJP, says it is 'slipping nationwide'
Former Union Minister P Chidambaram on Dec 23, slammed the BJP by thanking the voters of Jharkhand for siding with the coalition of the JMM, Congress and RJD.

Former Union Minister P Chidambaram on Monday, December 23, slammed BJP by thanking voters of Jharkhand for siding with coalition of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). According to him, election results show that BJP is "slipping" nationwide. Speaking to media, he said, "I thank people of Jharkhand for this victory. In Haryana, BJP won with a very little leing, while in Maharashtra y tried to grab seat via back door but continuously y are slipping down." Minister also took to Twitter and slammed BJP over losing in Jharkhand.
Chidambaram questions govt over CAA and NRC
Senior Congress leer on Monday furr questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statements over Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizens (NRC) given at a rally held in Ramlila Maidan. Speaking to media, he said, "Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh h spoken about NRC implementation but w Prime Minister is saying that we do t have any plan on implementing NRC. question of 19 lakh people getting affected by it in Assam is also unanswered." He furr questioned government and said, "Only six religions have been ded in list, so what happens to Muslims?" Minister also said, "I will t let India become a second Germany."
