UP: Vigilance department seeks property details of 3 senior UPPCL officials in PF scam
The Vigilance Department of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday requested for property-related details of 3 senior UPPCL employees who were involved in the PF scam

In a case regarding alleged Provident Fund (PF) scam in Uttar Presh Power Corporation Limited which is also kwn as UPPCL, Vigilance Department has penned a letter to Commissioner of Nagar Nigam Luckw, asking him for property information of two retired and one serving senior rank officials of UPPCL and ir respective family members.
Vigilance Department has sought details of immovable properties and lands belonging to retired UPPCL MD AP Mishra, former Director UPPCL Sudhanshu Dwivedi, MD (Finance and Accounts) UPPCL Praveen Kumar Gupta and ir family members through multiple letters in December.

Earlier in vember, UP state government h stated that it would ensure that provident fund money of employees of UPPCL which were invested in scam-hit Deewan Housing Finance Limited (DHFL) will be returned.

So far authorities have me several arrests in connection with alleged investment of Uttar Presh power employees' Provident Fund money in scam-hit DHFL. ecomic offences wing of UP police also carried out raids on residence of AP Mishra. As per available records, General Provident Fund of over Rs 2,600 crore of employees' was invested in scam-hit housing finance company DHFL.

UP CM assures to return money
Earlier on vember 26, Uttar Presh Chief Minister Yogi ityanath in his statement h stated that his government will pay back Provident Fund money of state power corporation employees which were invested in scam-hit DHFL by confiscating properties of those responsible for irregularities. In his statement, UP CM h said, "We will t harm interests of any employees. properties of all those involved in this scam will be confiscated and every single paisa of each and every employee will be returned."
