MNM chief Kamal Haasan pays tribute to Pulwama terror attack martyred CPRF jawan G Subramanian, extends condolences to family members

Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) chief Kamal Haasan on Sunday paid tribute to martyred CRPF jawan G Subramanian in Tamil Nadu's Kovilpatti, who was killed in the Pulwama terror attack, which took place on February 14. In one of the most gruesome terror attack on Indian soil, the suicide bombing perpetrated by Pakistan-backed Jaish-e-Mohammad killed 40 bravehearts CRPF officers in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district.
After paying tribute to the martyred soldier, Kamal Haasan also interacted with the family members, and offered his condolences and support to them.

In the aftermath of the Pulwama attack, veteran actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan's party Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) had expressed its solidarity with the kins of the martyred CRPF jawans. The MNM released a statement extending its complete support for any action, and mentioned that party's chief Kamal Haasan had called up J&K Governor's advisor regarding the same.

We, along with the people of India are observing the dedicated, indomitable spirit of you and your team during this dire circumstance. Each and every citizen of the nation stand by you and support all your actions regardless of political bias,” Kamal Haasan had assured.

On February 14, an IED blast rocked the convoy carrying over 2500 CRPF jawans from Jammu back to Srinagar. With 40 jawans martyred many others suffered severe injuries from the act of terror. The Indian government has vowed to punish the perpetrators behind the terror attack.
Pakistan has been facing massive backlash in the wake of the terror attack, wherein the world has stood in solidarity with India in the fight against Pak-backed terror outfits. A number of countries, as well as key global bodies such as the United Nations Security Council have come together to condemn the Pulwama terror attack and back India in its fight against terror.
