Muzaffarnagar: Man arrested for killing brother-in-law to grab land
A case was registered on January 7, 2019, after the family of Amit Kumar, a native of Nara village under Mansurpur police station, reported him missing. Later, it was found that Sunder was behind it, the police said.

A man was arrested here for allegedly abducting and murdering his brother-in-law last year in order to grab his land, police said on Wednesday. The accused, Sunder, was arrested on Tuesday, they said.
A case was registered on January 7, 2019, after the family of Amit Kumar, a native of Nara village under Mansurpur police station, reported him missing. Later, it was found that Sunder was behind it, the police said.
During interrogation, Sunder confessed that he abducted Amit and strangulated him to death. He dumped the body in a canal, they said.
Amit's father owned 22 bigha of agricultural land. After his father died, he was the sole owner of the land. Sunder wanted to grab the land after killing Amit, they said.
