A local court in Ahmedab has rejected bail of Maa Pranpriya and Maa Tatvapriya. This is turning out to be ar big setback to self-styled godman Nithyananda since court in harsh words has reasoned rejection of bail.
Bail denied
judge upon rejecting bail h called both accused as ‘harmful for society’. two sahvis who h been arrested from Nithyananda’s Ahmedab Ashram h been in police custody till vember 27 where interrogation of sahvis h been going on. After that, in ar remand hearing, sahvis h been directed to be in judicial custody. Since n y were held in judicial custody and only a hearing for ir conditional bail y were produced in Metro court of Ahmedab.

On Monday, legal team of both sahvis presented that interrogation of police officials h gotten over and that re was purpose for m to be in custody. legal team h also argued that y were working towards social welfare and that y are upstanding citizens who have cooperated with police investigation completely. ding to that, legal team also argued that duo h been responsible for all children who are residing in Ashram in Ahmedab and that y needed to get back to ir duties.
However, public prosecutor h argued that duo might hamper investigation and that y might use ir undue influence on children of ashram since children might also prove to be key witnesses in Habeas Corpus case pending in Gujarat High Court. legal team also presented that re were times that duo h t cooperated with police officers who were interrogating m.

Locker seized by cops
Republic TV h reliably learned from sources that re was a digital locker that police h seized from Ahmedab Ashram which sahvis h been refusing to help open (since it was password protected). After which police h to approach an expert to break open locker which was crucial in presenting money trail evidence to Gujarat Police.
Moreover, judge finally rejected bail of both sahvis on basis that y proved to be a ‘threat’ to children in ashram and to society at large and also that y might prove to be a hindrance to police investigation as well.
