NITI Aayog in tie-up with ISRO, CBSE to launch 'Space Challenge' for school students
NITI Aayog's Atal Innovation Mission in collaboration with ISRO and CBSE has launched the 'Space Challenge' for school students across India.

NITI Aayog's Atal Invation Mission in collaboration with ISRO and CBSE has launched ' Challenge' for school students across India, an official statement said on Friday. This challenge has been designed for all school students, mentors and teachers across country who t only are associated with schools having Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL) labs but for all n-ATL schools as well.
"Atal Invation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog in collaboration with Indian Research Organisation (ISRO) and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) successfully launched ATL Challenge 2021 for all school students across country," statement said.
This is to ensure that students of classes 6 to 12 are given an open platform where y can invate and enable mselves to solve digital techlogy problems, it ded. ATL Challenge 2021 aligns with World Week 2021 which is being observed from October 4-10 each year at global level in order to celebrate contributions of science and techlogy.

AIM Mission Director Chintan Vaishnav said aim of this challenge is to enable invation among young school students to create something in sector that will t only help m learn about but create something that programme can use itself.
Director Capacity Building Programme Office (ISRO) Sudhir Kumar said, "We take pride in collaborating with AIM and CBSE to launch this challenge where students can explore with creative freedom."

CBSE Chairman Maj Ahuja said that ATL challenge 2021 has a huge potential in terms of allowing children to come up with ideas and having an environment where y can see ir ideas turn into a reality through ecosystem that AIM, ISRO and CBSE are providing through this challenge.
Under Atal Invation Mission, Aayog is running initiatives like Atal Incubation Centres and ATLs to promote entrepreneurship and invation.
