Hathras horror: BSP demands CBI probe of to be under Supreme Court judge's supervision

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Sunday has demanded that CBI investigation of Hathras case should be under supervision of a Supreme Court Judge. Speaking to ANI, BSP National Spokesperson Sudhindra Bhoria said that CBI inquiry was demanded into incident by BSP supremo Mayawati and she wants investigation under supervision of Supreme Court Judge.
"I think y should bring in clause to appoint Supreme Court Judge so that parents, people and society at large be assured that re will be a fair enquiry and guilty will be punished with iron hands," Bhoria said.

BSP National Spokesperson furr said "that re is anger all across country against Hathras rape, subsequently leing to her death and even body t being given to her parents for cremation. refore, people in this country are very angry with Uttar Presh Government, more particularly with Uttar Presh Chief Minister Yogi ityanath".
Mayawati Urges SC For Suo Moto Cognizance
On Wednesday, BSP supremo Mayawati h suggested that Supreme Court should take suo moto cognizance of Hathras incident and should take appropriate action. Her reaction came after family of deceased victim alleged that police cremated her body in middle of night without ir consent.

UP CM transfers Hathras case to CBI
On Saturday, Uttar Presh CM Yogi ityanath ordered Hathras case to be transferred to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Anuncing this move in a tweet, office of Chief Minister said CM has decided to hand over entire investigation into Hathras case to CBI so that all aspects related to case are investigated thoroughly. Chief Minister has ordered suspension of five police officers including district's Police Superintendent (SP) Vikrant Vir for midnight funeral. A 3-member SIT is currently probing case and will submit its report within a week.

Reports until Friday stated that 19-year-old woman h been gangraped by four upper-caste men in Hathras on September 14 in a field, leaving her in a critical condition. When her condition worsened, she was referred to AIIMS but was mitted to Safdarjung hospital in Delhi last Monday with spinal cord injuries, paralysis, and cuts in her tongue. She succumbed at around 3 am on Tuesday. case is currently subject of a huge amount of protest, with political parties also involved. UP government has filed a FIR alleging criminal conspiracy to incite violence on Sunday morning.

autopsy report said cause of death of victim was trauma due to a neck injury and didn't mention rape, following which UP G h contended same. Videos of victim's mor as well as original complaint say she h been strangled and name person who did it, t mentioning rape.
