Congress won't have been this bad had Priyanka led party: Rahul's aide

Former aide of Cong leader Rahul Gandhi, Pankaj Shankar said that the state of Congress would not have been so bad if Priyanka Gandhi had led the party.

Former aide of Congress leer Rahul Gandhi, Pankaj Shankar on Sunday said that state of Congress would t have been so b if Priyanka Gandhi h led party. "t only me, ask any Congress worker across country or anyone in opposition, y will also agree that state of Congress party would t have been so b if Priyanka Gandhi h led party," Shankar told news ncy ANI.

Shankar said that Rahul Gandhi has been in politics for 15 years w. "He came into active politics in 2004. It is 2019 w. re have been experiments in Youth Congress and  National Students' Union of India (NSUI). election result in Amethi was also t in ir favor. What will be next experiment? Only party is left w," he said.

Indirectly criticising Congress chief Sonia Gandhi for letting Rahul Gandhi le party, Shankar said in Hindi: "Putramoh Hi To Hai Yeh", which roughly translates to 'this is only love for son'. He said that under Rahul Gandhi's leership, Congress party has fallen from three digits to two digits in seat count. "Everyone kws about it. It is an internship, which isn't concluding," ded Shankar.

Congress party to protest against ecomic slowdown

Congress party anunced that it will hold a protest against Central government over ecomic situation in country in first week of vember. Even as Congress claims that ecomy of country is in doldrums, it scheduled its protest against Centre only in month of vember, while y anunced about same two days ahe of election results of Haryana & Maharashtra.

In Rajasthan, Congress general secretary and Rajasthan in-charge Avinash Pandey on Sunday said: "An important meeting in New Delhi chaired by AICC president (Sonia Gandhi) was held in which it was decided to protest against situation which has arose due to wrong policies of Centre, including derailing country's ecomy, unemployment and undeclared emergency," "A countrywide protest will be lodged from vember 5-15," Congress leer said, ding that memorandums would be presented and a state-level protest in Jaipur would be also be held.
