Farmers' stir: Congress dares JJP to pull out of Haryana govt, cites stance of NDA allies
Amid the protests of the farmers, the Congress party on Wednesday dared JJP to withdraw support from the Manohar Lal Khattar-led government in Haryana.

Amid protests of farmers, Congress party on Wednesday dared JJP to withdraw support from Mahar Lal Khattar-led government in Haryana. dressing media, Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala pointed out that S h alrey quit NDA while Rajasthan's RLP was on verge of doing same. Moreover, he lauded decision of Independent MLA Sombir Sangwan to withdraw support from state government and urged or Independents to follow his example. With 10 seats in state Assembly, JJP is a crucial part of ruling coalition in Haryana.
Randeep Surjewala remarked, "S left BJP's side due to farmers' protests. In Rajasthan, RLP is preparing to leave BJP. question is when will Dushyant Chautala resign from post of Deputy CM? When will JJP withdraw support from BJP in Haryana?"

JJP calls for legalising MSP
A day earlier, BJP's ally JJP called for an amendment to farm laws passed by Parliament. JJP national president Ajay Singh Chautala claimed that farmer is distressed at present and sought a resolution to ongoing standoff at earliest. While he exuded confidence that Centre's talks with farmers will bear fruit, he urged Union government to incorporate guarantee of Minimum Support Price in agrarian laws. According to far of Haryana Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala, this should t be a problem as Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have mselves me it clear that MSP system will continue.

On Tuesday, JJP national president Ajay Chautala said, " government has called farmers for talks today. We want that this situation should be resolved at earliest. We have also urged people in government that issues of farmers should be resolved. Today, farmer is distressed and is roaming on ros. Everyone is facing problems- farmer, government and everyone else. It will be much better if situation is resolved at earliest. Agriculture Minister and PM have said that MSP will continue. What is difficulty in ding that line (in law)?"
