event will take place at Rashtrapati Bhavan at 7 pm. oath-taking ceremony will be ministered by President Ram Nath Kovind. ceremony will be hosted in forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan. Durbar Hall at Rashtrapati Bhavan is usually swearing-in venue. Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Chandrashekhar are only Prime Ministers, apart from Narendra Modi, who were sworn-in at forecourt.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will t attend event. According to Chief Minister’s Office, body from Kerala government including Chief Minister will be present in ceremony on Thursday. According to PTI, Banglesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina who is on a three-nation foreign visit will miss event.

Rashtrapati Bhavan will serve a light dinner for visiting dignitaries besides high tea after 7 pm ceremony, according to reports. While high tea will serve vegetarian fare ranging from samosas to Rajbhog and lemon tarts, dinner will include both vegetarian and n-vegetarian fare.
President’s kitchen has taken into consideration that many visiting dignitaries are from countries to India’s east whose cuisine is usually t very rich or heavy, and timing of event will make it rar a late meal for m when compared to ir local time.

In view of swearing-in ceremony, government offices located near Rashtrapati Bhavan would remain closed on Thursday. While offices located in rth Block, South Block, Rail Bhawan, Vayu Bhawan, Sena Bhawan, DRDO and Hutments would be closed at 2 pm on May 30.
