Giriraj Singh taunts Sena, posts Balasaheb-BJP veterans' old picture

Union Minister Giriraj Singh said that some elements in Maharashtra are allying with Hindutva opposers & are insulting the teachings of Balasaheb Thackeray

As Shiv Sena was mulling over government formation in Maharashtra with ideologically different Congress and NCP, Union Minister and BJP leer Giriraj Singh has said that some elements in state are insulting teachings of Bal Thackeray. Posting an old picture of Balasaheb along with former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and BJP veteran LK vani, Begusarai MP said that it was Bal Thackeray's hard work that gave direction to Maharashtra. He n ded that Sena trying to seal a deal with 'Hindutva opposers' is a betrayal for Shiv Sainiks. This is second time Sena and BJP parted company in ir 35-year- association.

Maharashtra's political crisis on Monday

In a minute-by-minute changing dynamics of Maharashtra politics, Goverr of Maharashtra on Monday night invited third-largest party - NCP to form government after BJP and Shiv Sena failed to provide majority number. Congress leer KC Venugopal on Monday evening said that Congress is still discussing formation of a government with NCP and has to extended Outer support to Shiv Sena. This official declaration came even as Shiv Sena reached its deline of 7.30 PM to form government in Maharashtra. NCP, on or hand, placed onus of decision-making on Congress, saying y will take decision only after Congress decides. After BJP on Sunday anunced that it won't form government, Goverr h invited second largest party - Shiv Sena to form government. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena MP Arvind Sawant also resigned from Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet.

stalemate in state is a result of  fallout of Mahayuti alliance partners- BJP and Shiv Sena over post of Chief Minister in state. While both blamed each or of betraying people's mandate, BJP me it clear to goverr that it would t form government as Sena does t wish to negotiate. In assembly polls, Mahayuti alliance partners won a total of 161 seats - BJP won 105 seats and Shiv Sena won 56 seats. Mahaghi me a comeback bagging 98 seats - (NCP 54 seats and Congress 44 seats.)
