Haryana: 2 more JJP MLAs come out in support of farmers
Two more MLAs from the JJP, an alliance partner of the ruling BJP in Haryana, on Sunday came out in support of the farmers seeking the repeal of the Centre’s new agriculture laws.

Jannayak Janta Party MLA Ram Kumar Gautam also demanded that a special assembly session be convened to bring a resolution urging Centre to scrap three laws.

Separately, JJP legislator Amarjeet Dhanda too came out in support of farmers, saying he backs ir agitation.
“We hope government will agree to ir demands. I appeal to Centre that y should listen to what farmers are demanding and resolve issue,” Dhanda, an MLA from Julana constituency, said.
Earlier, two or JJP MLAs -- Jogi Ram Sihag and Ram Karan Kala -- h anunced ir support to farmers and participated in agitation in Haryana, going against ir party's stand on issue.

Sihag h also refused to accept his appointment by state government as chief of Haryana Housing Board.
In 90-member Haryana Assembly, BJP has 40 MLAs, JJP has 10 and Congress has 31.

Seventy-four-year-old Gautam said Centre and ML Khattar government in Haryana have said that laws will benefit farmers but asked why y were being forced upon m.
Hitting out at Narendra Modi government, Gautam asked that if farmers don’t want se laws, why are y being thrust upon m? What is ir (Centre) compulsion?.

He demanded that state government convene a special session of state assembly and urged all political parties of Haryana to join hands and bring a resolution urging Centre to repeal laws.
“I want to tell Khattar government that a special session should be summoned immediately and all parties should join hands to bring a resolution urging Modi Ji (Centre) to repeal se three laws before it is too late,” legislator from Narnaund constituency in Hisar district, told reporters.
Meanwhile, ar JJP MLA and senior leer Ishwar Singh said Centre is engd in talks with farmers and everyone is hopeful that a solution will be found at earliest.

Singh said that he stood with farmers and body was against m.
Congress legislature party leer Bhupinder Singh Hooda h on Friday said that party will seek convening of a special session of assembly to bring a -confidence motion against BJP-led state government.
Hooda h claimed that Khattar government h lost confidence of both people and House, and said a Congress delegation will meet Goverr Satyeo Narain Arya soon to demand summoning of House.
On Tuesday, Independent MLA from Dri, Sombir Sangwan, h withdrawn support to BJP-JJP government on farmers' issue.
A day earlier, he h resigned as chairman of state's livestock development board.
JJP national president Ajay Singh Chautala h suggested on Tuesday that Centre should give a written assurance to farmers that minimum support price system would continue.
However, Congress h accused two-year-old party of continuing to cling to power and support anti-agriculturist, anti-labor, and anti-poor three black laws, and be part of government.
