As per sources, Shiv Sena, NCP, and Congress are set to file a writ petition against swearing-in ceremony of Devendra Fnavis in Supreme Court. y want it to be declared as ‘unconstitutional’. Reportedly, various options are being mulled by legal team of three parties. Sources reveal that y are likely to request an urgent hearing and are waiting for Registry officials. Moreover, Kapil Sibal, as per sources, will represent m in SC. On Saturday morning, Fnavis and Ajit Pawar were sworn in as Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra respectively.

Earlier, dressing BJP workers for first time after forming government in Maharashtra, Chief Minister Devendra Fnavis thanked people for showing confidence in his leership. He also thanked Ajit Pawar and or alliance partners for ir important role. Fnavis also echoed famous ‘Modi Hai Toh Mumkin Hai’ chant. reafter, he gave an assurance that new government would work for betterment of people and create Maharashtra of Babasaheb Ambedkar and Shivaji Maharaj's dreams.

Fnavis said, "Today, we have formed government in Maharashtra once again under leership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I want to thank Ajit Pawar and NCP MLAs along with Independent MLAs who have helped us form a strong government. Wher it is Ramdas Athawale, Sabhai Khot, Vinayak Mete, and or alliance partners. It is true that one friend is t with us. But as our attachment is with people of Maharashtra, we took a decision to form a stable government with NCP’s Ajit Pawar. I want to assure you that Modiji Hai Toh Mumkin Hai. Whatever Modi says will happen. I thank Modiji, Amit Shahji, Ndaji, and Chandrakant Da Patil ji. I want to thank all my colleagues. I want to assure that you that government will work towards securing Maharashtra of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s dream, Maharashtra of Babasaheb Ambedkar for welfare of farmers."
Cracks in NCP
While BJP claims that entire NCP legislative party has consented to be a part of government, NCP supremo me it clear that he did t endorse decision of Ajit Pawar. As per sources, government has to prove its majority in Maharashtra assembly by vember 30. Sources also revealed that more than 40 MLAs attended NCP meeting called by Shar Pawar, while 7 MLAs in Ajit Pawar camp are believed to have changed ir stance.
