West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday raised Delhi violence issue at 24th Eastern Zonal Council (EZC) meeting chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Odisha.
Speaking to media about discussion in EZC meeting, Mamata expressed sness over ongoing Delhi violence and said that re is an urgent need to restore rmalcy in Delhi. She also dressed need to help victims and affected families.

West Bengal Chief Minister ted that several people, including one police constable and an IB staffer, were killed in violence. She also requested government to ensure that peace and harmony prevail in country.
Mamata Banerjee furr said that any problem face in one part of country soon spres to or areas as well. so Centre must ensure harmony is maintained in country.

discussion over CAA, NRC and NPR
Bengal CM also said that discussion was held on National Register of Citizenship (NRC), National Population Register (NPR) and Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA).

Mamata Banerjee said that those discussions were t even on nda. As delegates did t raise issue, or members also remained silent on matter. She said that re was discussion on law and order eir.
She also raised several demands concerning West Bengal at EZC meeting, such as GST revenues, devolution of funds, and assistance for disaster relief.

Mamata Banerjee informed Centre that delay in receiving GST revenue dues has led to financial crunch in state. She also demanded an increase in devolution of funds to states. Chief Minister pointed out that West Bengal has also t received Central assistance for twin cyclones Fani and Bulbul.

Amid ongoing 24th EZC Meet, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, took to Twitter to share a rare photo of West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and Home Minister Amit Shah sharing a meal toger.
