BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad slammed Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for not attending the inaugration of Vande Bharat Express on the invitation of railways on Sunday and said that the Chief Minister of Bihar should have a big heart.
He said, "It is a very historic day, congratulations to Prime Minister Modi and to Rail Minister. The second Vande Bharat train from Patna was flagged off today. I will soon request to start a Vande Bharat train from Patna to Delhi. I heard that Nitish Kumar was also invited. it would have been nice if he had come. He has also been a railway minister and sometimes the Chief Minister of Bihar should show a big heart.”

Ashwini Choubey slams Bihar CM
Another BJP leader Ashwini Choubey also hit out at the Bihar CM and said that he does not like too see India getting developed.
“It is a pride moment for India. The Prime Minister does what he says. All the countries of the world are imitating India today as to how the Nine Vande Bharat Express was run. All the countries of the world are watching India today as to how the Vande Bharat Express was launched. Nitish Kumar's mind is so small that he did not come despite the invitation from Railways. He does not like India's development,” Ashwini Choubey said.

PM Modi flagged off nine Vande Bharat Express trains
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday virtually flagged off nine Vande Bharat Express trains and said that the speed and scale of infrastructure development are matching with aspirations of 140 crore Indians.
He said, "The speed and scale of infrastructure development are matching with the aspirations of 140 crore Indians. Today people of Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Bihar, West Bengal, Kerala, Odisha, Jharkhand and Gujarat will get the facility of Vande Bharat Express trains. These new Vande Bharat Express trains depict the new energy of the country."

"The popularity of Vande Bharat trains is constantly rising. Over 1,11,00,000 crore passengers have already travelled on them," he added.
