PM Modi inaugurates projects under 'Namami Gange' Mission in Bihar
Ahead of the assembly elections, PM Narendra Modi gifted three new projects by digitally inaugurating and laying the foundation under Namami Gange to Bihar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave three new projects by digitally inaugurating and laying foundation under Namami Gange to Bihar. event was attended by Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and senior BJP leer from state and Union Minister Ravi Shankar Pras.
During event, PM inaugurated 43 MLD sewer treatment plant built under Namami Gange project in Beur area of Patna as well as sewer treatment of ar 37 MLD in Karamalichak. A total of 11 projects have been approved by Namami Gange Mission for sewer system of entire Patna city. PM h laid foundation for two or projects along with se STPs – Beur and Karmalichak in October 2017. work of 60 MLD Saidpur STP is also nearing completion.

Apart from this, under scheme, PM Modi also laid foundation stone of Muzaffarpur River Front Development Scheme. Three ghats (East Akhara Ghat, Lder Ghat, Chandwara Ghat) of Muzaffarpur city will be developed under this scheme. se riverfronts will have unique facilities like changing rooms, pathways, watchtowers, information kiosks, toilets, etc. Attractive sign, security system, and equate lighting will be major features of se ghats.
In dition to this, PM Modi also launched a water supply project in Siwan Municipal Council and Chhapra Municipal Corporation under AMRUT Scheme. Under se two schemes, local citizens will get clean drinking water round clock.

A major contribution to nation-building
During his dress, PM said, “Bihar has a major contribution to nation-building. Lakhs of engineers from Bihar are taking development work of country to new heights. land of Bihar has always been synymous with invention and invation."
Moreover, he said conservation of Ganga dolphin is a priority for government and Bihar will benefit from Project Dolphin. " entire extension of Ganga from Patna to Bhagalpur is abode of dolphin. refore, Bihar will t only benefit from Project Dolphin but will also boost tourism along with bio-diversity in river Ganga.”
