Tamil Nadu polls: MK Stalin vows to waive-off student loans if DMK is elected to power
MK Stalin, who is eyeing his maiden term as the CM promised to waive-off student loans for higher education if DMK formed the government in the state.

In run-up to highly-anticipated elections in Tamil Nu, DMK Chief MK Stalin has come forward with promise to waive-off education loans if his party was voted to power. While dressing a rally at Erode West Constituency, MK Stalin, who is eyeing his maiden term as CM promised to waive-off student loans for higher education if DMK formed government in state. This is t first time, Stalin has centered his statements around students and higher education. Over last few months, DMK Chief has been very vocal about module of education in state's government schools, NEET exams, and student loans.

Stalin corners AIMK over Jayalalithaa
This also comes days after Stalin launched a campaign titled "WeRejectMK", and urged people to defeat AIMK in elections slamming Tamil Nu Dy CM O Pannerselvam for allegedly 'dodging' Arumughaswamy Commission investigating death of ex-CM J Jayalalithaa.

"It has been three years since Arumughaswamy commission was set up. Infact, commission was condition/reason OPS stated he returned back to AIMK after he split from AIMK. y h set up commission with timeline set as 3 months to find out cause behind former CM's death. But it has been three years. Several times commission has given summons to m (AIMK) an till w, action has been taken," he h said earlier.
Raking up issues in agriculture and education, DMK chief Stalin has launched his massive political campaign under which his party functionaries will visit over 16,000 vills and wards to conduct "gram sabhas", opting resolutions against AIMK government. Stalin has expressed confidence over bagging 200+ seats in TN polls. Assembly elections in Tamil Nu are due in April-May 2021.
