UP Govt to launch new 'UP Angel Network' to in a bid to lure startups
‘UP Angel Network' will be unveiled at the ÚPStartup Conclave' by the Department of IT and Electronics on September 14 by Vice President to boost startups

Uttar Pradesh government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to launch an incubator programme to boost startups in state. programme will be called ‘UP Angel Network' and will be unveiled at UPStartup Conclave by Department of IT and Electronics on September 14. programme is a step in direction to achieve target of making UP a $1 trillion ecomy by 2024. programme is likely to be inaugurated by Vice President Venkaiah Naidu.

UP's appeal to startups
UPStartup Conclave is an exclusive startup event going to be held in Luckw. event is being organized by Department of IT & Electronics of UP government, in association with Luckw Manment Association and Indian Institue of Manment (IIM) Luckw. main purpose of event is to work towards making state one of most attractive options in terms of investment and to promote entrepreneurs with ease of doing business. Certain sectors have been given preference, such as Agro & Food Processing, Health, Education, Fintech, Advanced Techlogy, E-Commerce, etc. This is second year of conclave, with first one being held in 2018. government has made a few changes, such as children will be prepared for startup culture right from school- and entrepreneurial cells will be created in universities.startups of every sector will be focused and encourd. This new Startup Policy will be sent to cabinet by end of this month. re will be multiple exemptions and incentives for appraiser startups can witness. DGM Praveen Kumar of IT and Electronic Department said, "Our aim is young ones with new invative ideas come into mainstream and scale-up ir startup, to develop right ecosystem for startups in Uttar Pradesh".

Efforts taken by government
CM has been taking multiple steps to ensure that his government is able to take right decisions. Chief Minister, with a few of his ministerial colleagues, went to IIM in Luckw for lessons in governance and leadership. A senior faculty of institute conducted lessons, which were a part of a leadership development programme called 'Manthan'. UP Government, in a statement, said: "It is first time that a state government, in order to enhance its political leadership, has decided to seek training from one of country's best manment institutes".
