Amid coronavirus pandemic, criticising central government over its "failure" in fighting with COVID-19 crisis, Congress has asked Centre about its "exit plan" after May 3 -- deline for lockdown.
Congress has demanded from government to help migrant labourers in reaching ir homes and to put Rs 7,500 in account of poor, as well as to provide equate financial assistance to state governments. Regarding this, a resolution was passed in a meeting of Congress Working Committee (CWC) on Thursday.

In meeting, Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi accused BJP of spreing hate virus. This was second CWC meet within a month regarding COVID-19. Gandhi said in meeting that inste of unitedly fighting COVID-19, BJP is spreing hate virus. Her reference was to statements me by BJP leers on Palghar lynching.

Congress interim president also said that number of testing is still low. Apart from this, testing kits and PPE kits are t available as per requirement and quality of those available is t good, she ded.
Stating lockdown as a "pause button", Congress leer Rahul Gandhi said that one has to think about lockdown in hotspot areas and opening of green zone areas. He said that solution to problem of migrant labourers has to be found first.

Cong passes resolution
In resolution passed in CWC, central government was asked to make a romap for future in remaining time of lockdown and tell people about exit plan after lockdown. Congress assured government of cooperation and said that government should increase capacity of health structure and focus on ecomy.

party has suggested government four points -- prevention and treatment of COVID-19, means of livelihood of people, availability of essential commodities and ecomic revival. With this, Congress has alleged that Ecomic Task Force anunced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi a month ago has t yet presented any action plan to government.
party has demanded that government should make a policy for migrant labourers who want to return to ir homes and compensate those who have died. It said that government should arrange for return of people stranded in or states. re has also been a demand from government to make agriculture loans free of interest and a concrete strategy for micro, small and medium scale industries.
