Prashant Kishor issues ominous response to Nitish Kumar's ultimatum & Amit Shah reveal

Responding to the Bihar CM's statement, Prashant Kishor on Tuesday said, "Nitish Ji has spoken, you should wait for my answer. I will come to Bihar to answer"

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday said that n BJP president Amit Shah had asked him to induct political strategist Prashant Kishor into Janata Dal-United JD(U). Nitish Kumar also said that Prashant Kishor is "free to express himself and can choose to stay with party or leave." Responding to Bihar Chief Minister's statement, Prashant Kishor speaking to ANI said, "Nitish Ji has spoken, you should wait for my answer. I will come to Bihar to answer him."

'Amit Shah asked me to induct him'

"Someone wrote a letter I replied to it. Someone is tweeting, let him tweet. What do I've to do with it? One can stay in party JD(U) till he wants. He can go if he wants...Do you kw how did he join party? Amit Shah asked me to induct him," said Kumar, while responding to a media question on Prashant Kishor. Kishor has more than once made his differences with party kwn on issue of amended Citizenship Act. JD(U) had supported legislation in both Houses of Parliament.

Last month, Kishor had said that it is only Bihar Chief Minister Kumar who can tell under what circumstances party supported Citizen (Amendment) Bill in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. On January 24 this year, Nitish Kumar had hit out at senior party leader Pavan K Varma over letter written by him to Nitish Kumar about alliance of party with BJP for Delhi assembly elections.

'He is free to go and join any party he likes'

When asked about letter by media, Kumar had said, "That is t a letter. If a person is in party, he writes a letter explaining issue and n a reply is given to that person. Sending an e-mail without even informing and straight away going to press doesn't make any sense to me. I don't consider that to be a letter." JDU chief also has said, "He is free to go and join any party he likes, my best wishes."
