Amid threat of new strain of Coronavirus found in United Kingdom, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale has come up with a new slogan " Corona, Corona " to ward off threatening virus. At beginning of Coronavirus pandemic, he had coined slogan "Go Corona, Corona Go" which he said has worked as daily fresh load of virus cases have reduced in country. He had invoked chant in February to lift spirits of people and later in April stated that his slogan had gone global and was chanted across world. minister had himself tested positive for virus in October.
"Earlier I gave slogan 'Go Corona, Corona Go' and w corona is going. For new coronavirus strain, I give slogan of ' Corona, Corona '", he stated while speaking with ANI.

He had also asserted on Monday that vaccines against COVID-19 will be launched in country within a month or two, after which " virus will have to go ultimately".

'With NDA and Narendra Modi'
Speaking on agitation of farmers against new farm laws, he said that "repealing laws is t possible in a democracy, however, to make amendments and improvement in law is responsibility of government and Parliament."

Meanwhile, protesting farmer unions on Saturday decided to resume ir dialogue with government and have proposed December 29 as date for next round of talks to resolve deadlock over Centre's three farm laws. decision was taken at a meeting of Sanyukt Kisan Morcha, an umbrella body of 40 farmer unions protesting at various Delhi border points against new agriculture laws. However, y have reiterated ir demand for a complete withdrawal of laws.
