'Real Enemies of Punjab': Congress MP slams miscreants 'ruining farmers' fight' in Delhi

Congress MP Ravneet Singh slammed the "miscreants" involved in farmer protests & said these people who are getting themselves involved are ruining the fight.

Congress MP Ravneet Singh Bittu on Tuesday slammed "miscreants" involved in farmer protests and said se people who are getting mselves involved are trying to ruin fight which "real farmers" are fighting. Ludhiana MP stated that youth have attacked some leers, media persons and used abusive langu against m. He requested Farmer Unions to control m or send m back to ir native places.

Ravneet Singh Bittu questioned  acts of violence by  youth and said that is y all were quoted as "Khalistanis". He also warned m that action will be taken against m in Punjab if y are found guilty. " real farmers are in ir trawlers, some elder ones are reing newspapers, praying to god, ors are being patient because y kw it is a long fight but a few young people are using abusive langu. se people are real enemies of Punjab. Shame on you people," MP said.

Thousands of farmers stayed put at various Delhi border points for sixth consecutive day on Tuesday protesting against new farm laws, which y fear will dismantle minimum support price system and corporatise farming. Meanwhile, Delhi Police has registered an FIR against unidentified people in connection with a clash between farmers and security personnel at Singhu border last week, officials said on Monday.

On Friday, in view of protests organised by different farmer unions against recently passed three agricultural laws, security personnel were deployed at Singhu border to maintain law and order, police said. Around 12.15 pm, protesters turned violent and tried to enter Delhi in large numbers.
