"Serious responsibility, will do my best": Senior advocate Sriram Panchu gives first reaction on appointment to top court-monitored Ayodhya mediation panel

Responding to his appointment in the Ayodhya mediation panel, senior advocate and mediator Sriram Panchu stated that it is a very serious responsibility and he will try to do his best to perform his duty.

Supreme Court on Friday prounced order for mediation to settle Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute, appointing a three-member panel heed by Justice (Retd) FM Kalifulla, including spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, and senior vocate Sriram Panchu. top court has given eight weeks to newly appointed panel to arrive at a conclusion in Ayodhya case.  It has to give a status report at end of four weeks. 

Responding to his appointment in Ayodhya mediation panel, senior vocate and mediator Sriram Panchu stated that it is a very serious responsibility and he will try to do his best to perform his duty.

"It is a very serious responsibility given to me by hourable Supreme Court. I will do my best," he said while speaking over development.

Earlier in day, responding to be appointed as chairman of three-member panel of mediators, Justice (Retd) Fakkir Mohamed Ibrahim Kalifulla stated that if  five-judge bench has appointed him as  he in mediation in  Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute, n he will take every effort to resolve issue by using cordial measures.

"I understand that Supreme Court has appointed mediation committee heed by me. I am yet to receive order copy. As of w, I can only say that if committee has been constituted we will take every effort to resolve issue amicably," he said while speaking to reporters in matter.
