Surat locals celebrate Navratri doing Garba in Modi mask; Watch

As the spirit of the Navratri festival in India is escalating in creative ways, a group of people in Surat were seen performing Garba wearing PM Modi’s mask.

With Navratri festival progressing in India, way garba is being performed has also evolved. From playing Garba by wearing helmets to performing at airport, a new trends are being set for Navratri celebrations. On Friday, people in Surat began celebrated Navratri by performing Garba Raas in a unique way — by wearing a mask of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Earlier, a group of people were seen performing Garba at VR mall in Surat on September 30. This was a dance group from a Garba class who were trying to create awareness about road safety. group members explained that "Wearing helmet and seatbelt is for one's own safety and it should be followed by all. It should t be a forceful action by government as it does t benefit m in any way. People should make it a habit to wear a helmet and seatbelt so that y can enjoy all festivals for a longer time in ir life". Apart from this, youngsters in Surat were also seen making tattoos on ir bodies to raise awareness on various social issues during Navratri. Modi fandom was seen painting ir body with  portraits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump during preparations for Navratri.

Garba at airport 

Ar video surfaced this Navratri that showed a group of people performing Garba in middle of  Ahmedabad airport at 3 am. Let alone passengers, airport staff was also seen performing Garba. A similar Garba flash-mob was performed at SVPI airport last year at both, international and domestic, terminals. A Vadodra based designer, Rahul Thakkar, also came up with an invative idea, this year. To make this festival more special, he tailored Garba dresses on me of abrogation of Article 370 and 35A in Jammu and Kashmir. designer Rahul Thakkar is famous for coming up with invative ideas and mes every year. He designed a Kurta for men with text 'RIP Article 370, 35A' written in top right corner. And for  women, he designed a special lehenga with same text.
