TDP accuses AP govt of encouraging sand mafia, demands compensation
Accusing the government of encouraging sand mafia which has left over 30 lakh workers with no work, TDP has demanded compensation for construction workers.

Amid protest by construction workers in Andhra Presh, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has put forward a demand that state government should pay a compensation of Rs 10,000 to all construction workers protesting short of sand in state.
In a press te released by TDP on Saturday, party's state president K Kala Venkata Rao has alleged that state government of canceling free sand policy in state. statement also alleged that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government's move has encourd sand mafia which has left around 30 lakh workers with work.

"This is a clear cut example of troubles labourers are facing due to sand short in state. chief minister is t even concerned about lakhs of families left with food to eat," Rao said as quoted by a news ncy.
"During TDP regime, one lorry of sand cost around Rs 10,000 but w same costs between Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000. Into whose pocket is excess money going?" he questioned.
TDP party leer has accused MLAs of Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) of corruption. He also accused Chief Minister of resolving issues of corrupted MLAs in sharing money earned by illegal sale of sand.

He also furr expressed grief over alleged suicide of a construction worker named Naga Brahmaji in Sangam Jagarlamudi town of Guntur district. " government should immediately extend full support to Naga Brahmaji's family," he said.

YSRCP Minister accused of reaping welfare scheme benefits
TDP h earlier accused Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy-led Andhra Presh government of looting public money. TDP leer K Pattabhi Ram claimed, ministers and workers of ruling YSRCP h benefited in process. He alleged that Education minister Audimulapu Suresh was a beneficiary of ‘Rythu Bharosa’ welfare scheme. Contending that he did t qualify for scheme, Ram expressed his bewilderment on same.
