Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav has attacked Bihar state government over flood situation in Patna. He said that it is shameful that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar called current situation a mere natural disaster. Furrmore, he accused government officials of infighting.

Yadav, while pointing out that re is one for public, on Saturday, said, "Chief Minister's remark that this is a mere natural disaster is shameful. concerned government officials are where to be seen. entire system has failed and 'double-engine' state government is fighting within like animals.”

He also added, " work is being done in Bihar. RJD has helped public to ir best ability during this tough time." He furr blamed corruption that had led to a bad drain system in Patna as a reason behind disaster that Patna is facing right w. Every year, re is floods and water-logging in different parts of state. We have repeatedly raised issue but state government doesn't give heed to se matters.”

Flood situation in Bihar
situation remains grim in city owing to continues floods for more than a week w. residents have been held captive inside ir houses as going out in knee-length water is t an option. Additionally, stagnant water has w started to stink, causing State to be under threat of widespread diseases.

Routine life continues to be crippled in Bihar and at least 55 people have reportedly died in rain-related incidents in State, following nstop downpour. Flood-like situations continue in state capital Patna where houses have been damd and animals have died due to rains. Water has been gushing inside houses, making it more difficult for people to live in current conditions and several shops have shut down because of trouble that floods have caused in region.
