UP CM Yogi Adityanath assures people of basic amenities & health facilities amid lockdown
Yogi Adityanath on Sunday stated that the Uttar Pradesh Government is working towards ensuring the safety and health of the people of the state

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday appealed people of state who are located outside to stay in ir respective states and t worry about safety of ir family and friends as UP government is ensuring ir complete safety.
"PM Modi has anunced a nation-wide lockdown and has requested m to indoors. It is our responsibility for sake of our health to stay indoors. We all kw that daily w earners and or's incomes will be affected. Keeping that in mind, PM Modi has anunced a financial pack of Rs. one lakh seventy-five thousand crores. companies, which have been closed during lockdown period, will have to pay ir employees salary," he said.

CM Yogi also instructed government officers to find daily w labourers and poor people and give "each of m Rs 1000 from government's pocket."
"I request house owners to t take rent from ir tenants who are poor or are daily w laborers," he said while adding that "electricity and water will t be disconnected even if people are t able to pay ir bills".

While giving assurance to people who have been living in state, Chief Minister said, " government will ensure that everyone gets food, drinking water and medicine matter where he or she is from. officials need to take care of daily and ecomic needs of workers from or states so that y do t feel need to flee to ir respective states."

Coronavirus crisis in India
As of date, India has reported over 950 cases of COVID-19. Out of all states, Kerala and Maharashtra have reported most in country. Meanwhile, 25 people have died so far due to deadly virus. Due to outbreak, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had put India under a national lockdown for 21 days. Furr, India has also closed India-Pakistan border and restricted passenger movement at border with Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, and Myanmar.
