UP CM announces to set up country's 'biggest' film city in Noida

Uttar Presh Chief Minister Yogi ityanath on Friday anunced to set up country's "biggest" film city in state’s Gautam Buddh Nagar, officials said.
" CM, while dressing a review meeting, anunced to set up biggest and most beautiful film city of country in Gautam Buddh Nagar. He instructed officials to search for a suitable land in or around ida, Greater ida or Yamuna Expressway and prepare an action plan," an official statement said.

On builder-buyer conflict in ida and Greater ida, CM asked to ensure protection of consumers' rights by all means and said as soon a flat is rey, its registry should be done.
CM directed ida Authority to expedite work of ongoing projects like ida Convention and Habitat Centre, golf course and expansion of Metro and a shooting range in Sector 21-A, it said.

CM gave directions during a review meeting of development projects of Meerut division, comprising Meerut, Ghaziab, Bulandshahr, Hapur, Baghpat and Gautam Buddh Nagar districts.
re are seven ongoing projects in Gautam Buddh Nagar; three each in Meerut and Ghaziab; two in Bulandshahr; and one in Baghpat with a total sanctioned cost of over Rs 2,000 crore, it said.

CM also interacted with MPs and MLAs of region and took cognisance of issues raised by m.
CM assured that traffic snarls from Delhi, Ghaziab to Meerut will w be a thing of past, statement said.

Delhi-Meerut Expressway, Delhi-Ghaziab-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System and Inner Ring Ro in Meerut will ease traffic like never before, CM said. He directed that an ongoing Delhi-Meerut Expressway project to be completed by end of this year.
He said entire Meerut Metro project should be completed by March 2025 while priority section from Sahibab to Duhai (17-km-long) should be completed by March 2023.

He reiterated Smart City projects in Ghaziab and Meerut should be fast-tracked.
Of 20 projects under AMRUT (water supply) in division, nine have been completed. CM asked to expedite or projects.
CM warned that delay in developmental work will t be tolerated and projects should be completed in time while hering to quality rms.
He said it is extremely important to award projects to ncies which have sufficient manpower and capacity to execute m on time.
He said funds meant for development should t be used elsewhere, orwise stringent action will be taken, including seizure of properties of guilty.
