Yogi Adityanath says, 'After Kartarpur, it will be Nankana Sahib'

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that after the Kartarpur Corridor, it is now the turn of Nankana Sahib to open its door for the people of the country

On occasion of 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji on Tuesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that after Kartarpur Corridor, it is w turn of Nankana Sahib to open its door for people of India. "I extend my good wishes to you and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ensuring opening of Kartarpur Corridor. day is t far when we will be able to visit Nankana Sahib too," he said while speaking at a function to mark 550th Prakash Parv of founder of Sikhism.

Nankana Sahib- a city of high historic and immense religious value 

Nankana Sahib is a city in Punjab province of Pakistan. It is named after first Guru of Sikhs - Guru Nanak - who was born in city and first began preaching here. It is a city of high historic and immense religious value and a popular pilgrim site for Sikhs from all over world. It is located about 80km west of Lahore. Yogi Adityanath said teachings of Guru Nanak were spread across several countries. "Guru Nanak laid foundation of Sikh faith with examples of valour and sacrifice. He spread light of kwledge and will always be revered," he said. Yogi Adityanath said that one ever went back hungry from gurdwaras where ''langar'' (community feast) was offered to all, irrespective of caste, class, and status. He said all shrines related to Sikh faith would be beautified and developed as tourist destinations.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, vember 12, extended his greetings on 550th 'Prakash Parv' of Guru Nanak Dev Ji on Twitter. PM remembered Sikh faith founder and said we must do justice to Guru Nanak Dev Ji's teachings for a just, inclusive, and harmonious society.
