Ahead of Ram Temple inauguration, Yogi govt bans liquor sale on 84 Kosi Parikrama Marg
Ahead of the Ram Temple inauguration on January 22, the sale of liquor within '84 Kos' radius of Shriram Nagar have been prohibited.

Ayodhya, Uttar Presh: Ahe of grand inauguration of Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024, Chief Minister Yogi ityanath-led state government prohibited sale of liquor on ‘84 Kosi Parikrama Marg.’ An official instruction regarding same has been issued, said officials.
State Excise Minister Nitin Aggarwal mentioned that all liquor shops on ‘84 Kosi’ of Ayodhya will be removed to make Ram Temple alcohol free.

“It was our decision as per instructions by CM that we prohibit liqour sale on 84 Kosi Parikrama Marg. We have shifted shops alloted re and we have completely prohibitted liqour sale on that Marg...It's a 150-175 km long ro so we have shifted all shops to or places,” said Aggarwal.
big move comes after Aggarwal met Champat Rai, General Secretary of Ayodhya Ram Mandir Trust, and discussed about prohibiting liquor sales on ‘84 Kosi’ stretch in Ayodhya.

preparations for consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla are touching final-stage, with work in full swing. Several state ministers, including Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Pras Maurya, have gared to take stock of development works in Ayodhya.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ayodhya on December 30 to inaugurate newly-built airport and Ayodhya Dham Railway Station, along with or development works.
