Atopic dermatitis may increase with incessant scratching

Atopic dermatitis may also cause the skin to be scaly and sensitive. The skin condition can affect your sleep and the overall daily routine. A healthy skin acts as a guard for harmful bacteria and allergens from entering the skin. However, eczema affects this aspect of the skin and according to research, is a gene-related condition. Sometimes, food allergies may also cause this condition. The disease can cause hay fever and asthma. Studies shows that atopic dermatitis can cause neurodermatitis which causes an acute itchiness and patches on the skin. This may also cause the discolouring of the skin. Atopic dermatitis can also be increased due to incessant scratching which further causes cracks and sores on the skin.
