Brain injury can le to fatal results which are irreparable and cant be rectified completely. Outdoor sports like soccer, hockey or sports accidents can cause brain injury, which can affect regular life on a massive scale. new research was conducted by National Institue of Neurological Disorders and Strokes (NINDS)  and it concluded that Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) could result in extremely harmful outcomes.

What did researchers have to say after finding?

Traumatic microbleeds which resulted from brain injury were t even detected in CT scans due to ir micro size, but reportedly with help of latest techlogy in medical world, this became possible. w traumatic micro-bleeds can be detected in MRI scans and even smallest microbleeds in size.

A member of research study Lawrence Latour, Ph.D., NINDS said:

"Traumatic microbleeds may represent injury to blood vessels that occur following even mir he injury,

" He furr ded "While we kw that dam to brain cells can be devastating, exact impact of this vascular injury following he trauma is uncertain and requires furr study."

Ar member from team of researchers Partha Mitra, who is laboratory professor at  Cold Spring Harbour Laboratory observed that blood vessels in brain get immensely affected post he injury, which is more than dangerous than nerve dam.

He said, " idea is that if mechanism is actually different, rapeutic intervention may also be different."

In past, we have seen many popular international cricket and soccer players losing ir lives on field due to he injuries. One such incident that is etched in all our minds is that of Phillip Hughes's untimely demise after he got hit by a bouncer from bowler and immediately collapsed on field.  new research study findings also incline towards creation of new TBI medicinal drugs and treatment. With new TBI medicines, a lot of difference can be me, aiding to brain-injured patients
