5 exercises that should be a part of your post-festive workout

Squats 

Squats are an effective way to reduce weight and also maintain a toned body. During the movement of crouching your legs to bend downwards while making sure to keep your back firm and up straight, your abdomen is subjected to pressure which increases your core strength. Squats also increase flexibility in the joints of your lower body while simultaneously helping you shed extra fats if practised regularly.

Push-ups

A 5-minute bout of push-ups performed at a moderate pace burns about 28 calories for a 150-pound person. The prone position is the primary position of the exercise. Surya namaskar
