In a first such phemen on a planet beyond Earth, European ncy's Trace Gas Orbiter (TGO) has discovered a green light in Mars' atmosphere. A similar glow is sometimes seen on Earth's limb by astronauts on station. According to scientists, emissions are formed due to collisions between atmospheric molecules and charged particles that are racing away from sun.
On Earth, collision is influenced by its strong magnetic field, pulling particles down to poles. However, as Mars does t have a magnetic field, scientists reported that green light is produced as oxygen atoms are raised to a higher level where y fall back to resting state. As per a paper published in journal 'Nature Astromy', re are certain attitudes that are dependent on pressure of Carbon dioxide (CO2). According to co-principal investigator on m's ultraviolet and visible spectrometer Dr. Manish Patel, thickness of atmosphere can be identified based on altitudes from where emission is coming from.

Dr. Patel furr called green light emission on Mars a "nice result" and said that after studying science clearly before going to Mars, y got this result. According to him, green light is different from classic aurora like rrn lights and Sourn lights.

Mars h a giant ring: Report
As per a report on June 6, Mars h a giant ring that was later squashed to form a single oddly-shaped moon/moons. Red Planet has two small and uneven moons-- Phobos and Deimos. While Deimos orbits farr away, Phobos orbits closer to Mars and follows line of planet's equator. According to scientists, one of giant mystery moons kcked Diemos into its current ring. Reportedly, as per ory, mystery moon n vanished into its ring form, creating a remnant of that ring which is w called Phobos. scientists have suspected that several generations of moons would have gone through 'ring-moon-ring' cycle, which will repeat, and so on and so forth.
