Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury agree 50-50 prize money split for their first showdown

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua have signed a two-fight contract for 2021, and the payment of the first contest is expected to be split equally between the two.

Current heavyweight world champions, Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury will step up against each or in one of biggest events in British boxing history as duo agreed to face each or in 2021. Since Tyson Fury holds WBC and Anthony Joshua currently has WBA (Super), WBO, IBF, and IBO titles, boxing promoter Eddie Hearn teased possibility of match up in 2021 to unify World Heavyweight titles. Although Tyson Fury is still scheduled to go up against Deontay Wilder by end of this year, Anthony Joshua is waiting for ‘ Gypsy King’ once p is turned on coronavirus-stricken year.

Despite fact that Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury will be one of biggest heavyweight clashes of all time in terms of quality of matchup and popularity, two boxers are also expected to draw heavy paycheques from contest. As per reports in SportsMail, first contest is believed to be settled under a 50-50 distribution towards Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

Since news broke out, ‘How much money will Tyson Fury earn’ and ‘How much money will Anthony Joshua earn’ have been two most frequently asked queries by boxing fans. Although first fight's revenue is expected to be distributed equally between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, second contest will see a change in distribution. As per reports, money from second fight will be split 60-40. winner of first fight will be entitled to major portion of payment from second fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

Boxing promoters Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren confirmed news from ir end. Hearn took to social media and posted a couple of pictures hinting at heavyweight matchup between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. Although ‘How much money will Anthony Joshua earn’ is yet to be determined officially on paper, Fury vs Joshua prize money is expected to break records when fight goes down in 2021.
