Lamar Odom's 2009, 2010 championship rings could fetch $100k fortune at an auction

Lamar Odom has become somewhat of a forgotten man, courtesy of his recent troubles. The former NBA star's pawned championship rings are now being auctioned off.

Retirement has t been kind on former NBA star - Lamar Odom. Despite being a part of Lakers side that registered back-to-back title wins in 2009 and 2010, Lamar Odom has drifted into trouble more often than t. It w appears that championship rings he received after 2009 and 2010 title wins have been put up for auction by Herit Auctions, an American multi-national auction house.

Lamar Odom rings that could fetch close to $100k at auction

According to TMZ,  pair of Lamar Odom rings could collectively net $100,000 at auction. According to Herit Auctions, pair of Lamar Odom rings are crafted from 16 karat gold with 16 large-cut diamonds that represent number of franchise championships. Several small stones are also included in face of ring. rings also feature a golden logo of n-NBA champions, Lakers.

Interestingly, one side of ring features slogan - "Sweet Sixteen", in reference to number of championships Lakers have tallied so far. One from pair of Lamar Odom rings also features score of Game Seven victory over Boston Celtics, along with Lakers' regular-season record. How se rings came to be auctioned off is also an interesting tale. Herit Auctions said that two-time NBA champion pawned pieces of jewellery and never returned to collect m.

Lamar Odom was last seen in action in NBA when he briefly featured for New York Knicks in 2014. While former Lakers star did prepare for a comeback to sport, his basketball comeback was handed a setback when he was released from rapper and actor Ice Cube’s three-on-three basketball league 'BIG3' due to diminished performance. Lamar Odam is currently engd to Sabrina Parr, a health and life coach.
