Portland Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum have been playing well together in NBA 2019-20. However, the Trail Blazers need a frontcourt player as they have players down with injuries. In a recent article by an American podcast network, Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green was mentioned as one of the players Trail Blazers could target before the deadline for the 2020 February NBA trade.

Draymond playing for Trail Blazers was mentioned as a 'dream scenario'. The All-Star could be a good match and complement Lillard and McCollum well. However, it is unlikely that the Golden State Warriors will part with one of their key players. Green cannot be traded until four days before the trade deadline.

NBA 2019-20 rumours: Portland Trail Blazers want Draymond Green to play for them

There is a slim chance that Green will play for the Trail Blazers during NBA 2019-20 season, though he would definitely be a good addition to the team. Green is a great rebounder, defender, floor-spacer and facilitator. Green has an average of 9.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 1.4 steals for the five NBA 2019-20 games he has played. He also has 42.9 % shooting from the field, and 30.8% from beyond the arc. If Green were to be a part of the Trail Blazers, the team would have better chances of beating teams such as the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Lakers. Green is currently benched due to his finger injury. The date of his return has not yet been confirmed.
