Adding ar fear to cap, India on Wednesday inaugurated world’s largest cricket stadium in Ahmedabad. While previously an Australian stadium used to top list of world’s largest cricket stadiums, Motera Cricket Stadium w boasts an unrivalled capacity of 110,000 and is officially kwn as Sardar Patel Stadium. President Ram Nath Kavind inaugurated Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad’s Motera on Wednesday ahead of India vs England’s pink ball test match. Here are world’s 10 largest cricket stadiums:
1. Motera Cricket Stadium, Gujarat, India
While Motera Cricket Stadium, Gujarat is world’s largest cricket stadium, it is also second-biggest stadium overall with an area of 63 acres. It was first constructed in 1982 when capacity was 49,000, followed by a revation in 2006 and making capacity 54,000. However, a significant development finally took place in 2020 to boost seating to a whopping 110,000.

2. Melbourne Cricket Ground, Australia
