Bangladesh will give a tough fight to India, reckons VVS Laxman
Bangladesh will tour India for 3 T20Is & 2 Tests. Laxman believes that the series against the Bangla Tigers will be competitive and they will give a tough fight

India were ruthless in all facets of game in recently concluded Test series as y whitewashed South Africa 3-0. next assignment for Kohli's men will be a three-match T20I series against Bangladesh which starts from vember 3 followed by a two-match Test series.

Despite India's dominant display former India cricketer VVS. Laxman however, believes that series against Bangla Tigers will be a ‘competitive’ one and Bangladesh will give India a tough fight.
Bangladesh more experienced than South Africa: Laxman
Laxman said in post-match analysis after Ranchi Test that he felt India versus Bangladesh series is going to be a competitive one. " Bangladesh squad was more experienced than current South Africa team and most of Bangladesh players were also in good form. Bangladesh team has grown over years and cant be taken lightly considering fact that y have always given a tough fight to Indian team in T20Is.”

While Bangladesh players are currently on strike, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly is sure that Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will resolve issue with players and series won't be affected. Ganguly confirmed on Monday that Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had accepted invitation sent to her to come and witness second Test between India and Bangladesh at historic Eden Gardens from vember 22 to 26.

As per reports, India Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bangladesh counterpart would be invited to be a part of opening day of second game of Test series. Ganguly has w added that Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will also be invited for game.

It is speculated that Virat Kohli is expected to sit out of three-match Twenty20 International series against Bangladesh. In his absence, Rohit Sharma will take over as captain. India will look to continue ir winning run and thus strengn ir position in ICC World Test Championship Points Table.
