India already has had a very successful 2024 so far. They beat the ruthless English side in a home Test series earlier this year and later followed it up with a historic T20 World Cup victory. They defeated Sri Lanka in a three-match T20I series, but could not replicate the same performance in the ODI series and ended up by losing it 2-0.
But there is still a lot of cricket left for the Indian team. They will play Bangladesh next in a two-match Test series which might very well be the preparation for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar trophy to be played in November this year. India are the defending champions of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and they will be eager to retain the title in Australia, once again.
