In what could be labelled as a surprising move, the Pakistan Cricket Board has appointed Wahab Riaz as the supervisor and mentor of the side. The fact that the Pakistan side is still making changes to their coaching set-up is surprising. Riaz was removed as the from the post of chief selector after Pakistan's debacle at the ICC T20 World Cup and hence to reappoint him in any capacity should come as a surprise.
Wahab Riaz as Supervisor and Mentor
Experience wise Riaz has the credentials as he has been part of the system and has a sound knowledge of it. The former Pakistan pacer had also worked as the Pakistan cricket team manager before the Pakistan Cricket Board. Spotlight would surely be on Riaz to see how he goes about his job.

The Trophy Tour will now comprise Karachi, Rawalpindi and Islamabad, apart from Abbottabad in the Khyber Pakhtunwala Region.
The Trophy Tour starts in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan, and will travel to other cities of the nation -- Taxila and Khanpur (November 17), Abbottabad (November 18), Murree (November 19) and Nathia Gali (November 20) before concluding in Karachi (November 22-25). Most of these cities are tourist attractions, Earlier, on November 14, the PCB had announced the Trophy Tour, which included cities like Skardu, Hunza and Muzaffarabad, which fall in the PoK region, a disputed territory between India and Pakistan.
