ICC declares way in which teams can qualify for T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia
The International Cricket Council (ICC) recently announced that a total of 86 teams will compete for 15 spots ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022.

With shortest format of game gaining immense popularity amongst cricket fans, ICC T20 World Cup is often a highly anticipated event. 2020 edition was slated to be held in Australia but h to be postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. However, fans have a reason to celebrate as marquee event will take place in 2021 as well as in 2022. International Cricket Council (ICC) anunced qualification process for T20 World Cup 2022.
T20 World Cup 2022: What teams need to do to qualify for mega-event
A total of eleven tournaments will be held across five regions to determine teams who will compete for ultimate championship. qualification matches will commence from April 2021. Hungary, Romania and Serbia will also take part in qualification matches for first time. Moreover, Finland will also get an opportunity to host an ICC event for very first time.

For Asia, Africa and Europe sub-regional qualifiers will be held, which will be followed by final qualifier for respective region. matches for se regions have been scheduled in such a manner due to number of participating teams in regions. In Global Qualifiers, 16 teams will battle it out for a spot in T20 World Cup 2022.

For 16 teams, eight countries will be selected based on regional qualifiers. Whereas Zimbabwe, Nepal, UAE and Singapore will also join eight teams in Global Qualifiers as y have gained a direct entry because of ir ICC T20I rankings. remaining four teams will be ded based on rankings of 2021 ICC T20 World Cup. 2021 edition will be hosted in India and BCCI are leaving stones unturned for preparations.

teams who h earlier qualified for 2020 edition of World Cup, w play seventh edition of mega-event in India. This will be second marque event that BCCI will host next year, as y are also planning to host IPL 2021 in country after previous edition h to be held in UAE due to pandemic.

Australia, Afghanistan, Banglesh, England, India, Ireland, Namibia, Nerlands, New Zealand, Oman, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Scotland, South Africa, Sri Lanka and West Indies are teams who will take part in ICC T20 World Cup next year in India.
