India beat Sri Lanka comprehensively to continue their splendid run in Women's T20 WC
The Indian women's team beat Sri Lanka comprehensively by seven wickets to continue their unbeaten run in the ongoing edition of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup

By virtue of this win t only do Team India continue ir unbeaten run in this tournament but also finish as table-toppers in Group A.

Heading into final group game, Harmanpreet Kaur & Co. had already consolidated a semi-final berth while Sri Lanka were already kcked out from competition. In reply, India seemed to be in a hurry to finish off proceedings as young Shafali Verma scored a quickfire 34-ball 47 at a strike rate of 138.24 including seven boundaries and a maximum. Even though she missed out on a well-deserved half-century, her kck made job easy for or batsmen as last edition's semi-finalists got over line by seven wickets and more than five overs to spare to make it to ir second straight T20 World Cup semi-final and reby, putting or teams on tice. Radha Yadav was adjudged Player of Match for her remarkable bowling performance.
