'This Is A Joke!': Robin Uthappa SLAMS Umpires Following KL Rahul's CONTROVERSIAL Dismissal In Perth

Former Indian batter Robin Uthappa slammed the umpires and their decision after KL Rahul was given out in a controversial manner in the first session of the first test in the Border Gavaskar Trophy test series. KL Rahul was given out by the third umpire in the first test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy despite there being no conclusive proof of him being out. This has led to a massive outrage in the cricketing world with several cricket experts and former cricketers giving strong opinions about KL Rahul's dismissal.  

Robin Uthappa Slams Umpires Following KL Rahul Dismissal 

As Indian batter KL Rahul was left fuming due to his controversial dismissal, former Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa took to social media to let his anger and displeasure regarding KL Rahul's dismissal be known. 

As Robin Uthappa took to X to vent out his frustration he wrote, “What the F@&* is this decision???? This is a joke! #BGT2025.”

He followed it up with another tweet saying, “How a third umpire makes a decision without accessing all angles!! Poor!! Just Piss poor!! #BGT2025."

As KL Rahul was given out in a controversial manner, commentator and former cricketer gave his take on the dismissal. 

"His pad and bat are not together at that point in time as the ball passes.

"It's (bat hitting pad) after, in fact, the ball passes the edge. Does Snicko pick up the sound of the bat hitting the pad?

"We're assuming (Snicko) may be the outside edge of the bat but that may not be the case," said Matthew Hayden while speaking about the dismissal.
