The suspense on Pakistan's participation in the forthcoming ICC ODI World Cup 2023 is finally over. A press release has been issued from the Pakistan Foreign Ministry's side declaring that the team will travel to India for the 50-over mayhem scheduled to start from October 5. Earlier India vs. Pakistan got a new date, the much-anticipated match will now take place on October 14, 2023.

Pakistan ready to send team for ICC ODI World Cup 2023
The squabble that continued for over a year between BCCI and PCB is finally over as Pakistan have decided to participate in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. The row erupted after BCCI made an adamant stand that Team India will not travel to Pakistan for Asia Cup 2023. In reply, PCB threatened to boycott the World Cup 2023. With the destiny of the Asia Cup ascertained, PCB first appealed to ICC for some modifications in the venues of their matches in the World Cup and then raised security concerns regarding the date on which they were scheduled to face India. Much-anticipated India vs Pakistan clash was earlier dated for October 15, 2023, but ICC addressed the concerns and as a result, the match will be held a day earlier on October 14.

Pakistan expresses security concerns for the cricket team
While they have been heard and given consideration, Pakistan have officially given the green signal to their participation. In a press release, that was released from the country's foreign ministry, it has been cited that the country is not in favor of impacting sports because of political tensions. Hence, going ahead with sending the team to India. In the final statement of the press release, the ministry communicates that it expects full security of the Pakistan Cricket Team in India.
