Prithvi Shaw is feeling awed on his return to training 

Shaw posted a story on Instagram showing him practicing light kcking and patiently trying to find his bat's sweet spot. He focused on using his feet to precisely line himself up with trajectory of ball. He wrote,  "What a feeling after three months ❤️."

Delhi Capitals decided to hold onto gifted opener for one more season, even though Shaw had a difficult time during his eight innings of play in IPL 2023 season as he scored only 106 runs. choice was made in midst of rumours that Shaw may be released in vember. Before getting hurt, Shaw had played a fantastic one-day match for rthamptonshire in domestic league, scoring an astounding 429 runs in just four innings. When he returns to full condition, re's a lot of expectation that he will perform at this exceptional level.

Although Rishabh Pant has joined Delhi Capitals, players such as Shaw can w play a key role because of uncertainty surrounding captain's return. In absence of ir captain, Delhi will be depending on Shaw to have a successful season with significant run-scoring contributions.
